Legalwe is an online application, a tool, a technology combining marketplace features with online marketing and online directory features to make it simpler for those with legal needs to post a question and receive an answer or to post a request to receive offers and quotes, or to locate a legal or other provider and work with them online. The site is available for legal providers, legal support providers or legal staffing agencies within the legal industry to have online visibility. The application is intended to be used by users and providers globally.

Legalwe is a brand of Gepards@Madison Ltd. who is the portal Operator.

In using this website you have warranted that you have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions and accepted them:

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy:

Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.


Legalwe is an Internet forum that, as per the definition in the prologue, also facilitates communication between Legal Professionals and potential users of aforementioned legal services or between Legal Professionals and Legal Support Services or Other Providers or between Legal Recruiters and applicants. Legalwe acts as a venue for Service Providers (sellers) and Users (purchasers) of legal or legal support services to exchange information with the goal of eventually forming a professional relationship. Legalwe does not guarantee that Users will be successful in finding legal representation, legal answers or employment through this system. Legalwe does not guarantee that Service Providers will be successful in promoting their services, or in finding users for their services. Furthermore Legalwe does not guarantee Provider will make a financial profit from being registered on the Legalwe site. Legalwe takes no position and offers no opinion on when or if an attorney-client relationship has been formed.

In order to provide an optimal forum and/or platform for Users and Legal Providers, Legalwe does not involve itself in the agreements between Users or Members or Providers or the actual representation of Users (clients). Therefore, Legalwe cannot ensure the completion of the agreement or the integrity of either party. The User and Service Providers, are solely responsible for assessing the integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness of all persons with whom they have entered into a Professional relationship with.


Legalwe is not:

a) a law firm or is a substitute for an attorney; and

b) is not a “lawyer referral service”; and

c) does not provide legal advice or legal representation to Users; and

d) any information found and posted on the Legalwe portal (except for the T’s&C’s and the Privacy policy) should not be construed as legal document or advice.

Use of the Legalwe website is subject to the guidelines of these Terms and Conditions. LegalWe expressly disclaims all liability in respect to actions taken or not taken based on information on this website. By accepting these Terms and Conditions Users and Services Providers also accept the Privacy policy and Legalwe newsletter.

Any form of use of the Service by a Subscribing Member or User is not intended to and will not create an attorney-client relationship between any person or entity and Legalwe. Any electronic communication sent to Legalwe will not create an attorney-client relationship between the sender and Legalwe, insomuch as such being expressly denied.

Providing a service where Users, potential clients and Service Providers can meet, does not imply an endorsement of any subscribing Service Provider. Legalwe makes no representation concerning Legal Providers qualifications, nor does it sanction statements Legal Providers may post on the system. Legalwe makes no representation concerning the qualifications of non-attorney Legal Service, Support and other Providers and Recruiters. Legalwe does not screen potential cases, or otherwise channel potential clients to selected attorneys. Those who register in the system as Legal Providers must be authorized by local laws to provide legal services in their jurisdiction, must be licensed to practice law in at least one state at the time of registration and where required must be members of the Bar with active Bar membership. By registering to the system they acknowledge the previous is true.

  1. Legalwe Does not provide legal advice

Legalwe is not a law firm. Legalwe offers no legal advice, recommendations, mediation, or counseling under any circumstance. Legalwe encourages the User who is seeking legal help, not to accept any information received from any source found on this portal, unless it is from an authorized Legal Provider

  1. Disclaimer of representations by Users

Legalwe makes no representation, guarantee, or warranty (express or implied) as to the legal ability, competence, or quality of representation which may be provided by any of the attorneys, law firms or legal service providers which may submit bids and/or are listed through the Legalwe portal or any affiliate thereof.


In order to keep this portal attractive and useful for all Users and Service Providers, it is important that both User and Services Provider follow the rules of the portal. Some of these rules are described in these T&C, and the rest in bulletins posted at various points in the system. Legalwe reserves the right to deny further access to its service to any User or Service Provider who violates these rules, is the subject of complaints by other Legalwe Users or Providers, for any other reason, or for no reason at all and without previous notification.

Users and Service Providers may not engage in any of the following activities on LegalWe portal:



  1. Free Membership:

User will have full use of the their account, ability to place bids, make online payments, inbox, messages, free newsletters, no blog posts, no home page logo feature.

Service Providers will have in basic, free membership limited use of the account, only basic short profile, no ability to place bids, no ability to make online payments, no inbox, no messages, free newsletters, no blog posts, no home page logo feature, no account statistics, no ability to share profiles via social media, no posts to Q&A. Basic profiles can be shown in search results on Legalwe.

  1. Paid Membership:

Services Providers will have in paid membership full use of the account, full profile, ability to place bids, ability to make/receive online payments, inbox, messages, ability to make blog posts, ability to purchase home page logo feature and make posts to Q&A directly from an account (only Legal Providers), account statistics, ability to share profiles via social media,.

There is a membership option for a small provider or freelancer (up to 5 employees or lawyers) and large provider or company (more than 5 employees or lawyers).  In case of the recruiters, the paid membership is “Full” up to 5 vacancies posts or “Premium” more then 5 vacancies posts.

The membership fee and period is for one year, which will automatically charge for another annum on the anniversary date, unless cancelled or downgraded before the anniversary date. Cancellation of paid membership prior to anniversary date is not refundable. Downgrade of membership type for smaller provider within an annum is not possible.

Blog posts

Providers may make blog posts directly from their accounts. Every registered provider may post 1 post per week maximum. Blog posts may be subject to prior review and approval of the Legalwe admin.

The level and type of information published by Legal Providers in their profiles, the level to which they use account features and the level to which they use Legalwe Services and the extent in which they offer or promote their Services to Users or other Providers must comply with local bar or other applicable rules that govern their practice. In case these rules put some limits on how Legal Providers can use LegalWe portal, LegalWe don’t provide partial refunds of membership fees for limited use. It is the Legal Provider’s responsibility to set-up their account and engage in actions or to promote themselves to the extent permitted by applicable laws


Payments for membership, extra logo features and payments for the work are made via PayPal payments processor. Legalwe don’t have access to and don’t maintain Users and Service Providers payment details except for the sums of transactions. There can be a service charge added to each transaction by Legalwe to cover banking and transaction fees (“processing fee”). In case of the escrow payments, the escrowed funds remain at the Legalwe accounts until job is approved by the User/buyer. Service Provider (seller) will receive the price of the service less the Legalwe processing fee and less the Legalwe retained amount, which covers the administrative costs of Legalwe in the amount of 10% from each transation.  

Returned charges (refunds), if any, may incur charges to cover banking fees, transaction fees and administrative costs.


Both the User, Service Provider and Legalwe have the right to terminate any Service Agreement for any reason, including the ending of services that are already underway. No refunds shall be offered, where a Service is deemed to have begun and is, for all intents and purposes, underway. Any monies that have been paid to Legalwe which constitute payment in respect of the provision of unused Services, especially for the membership and extra logo features, shall not be refunded.

Refunds for the services rendered by the Service Providers to Users are applicable when a job is accepted and not delivered or accepted and cancelled after money have been escrowed and there is mutual agreement between the Service Provider and User about cancellation and refund as a result of the dispute process. The refunds may be subject to other fees.


Legalwe provides Users and Services Providers with a forum that function as an open market. Legalwe or its Operator is not responsible for the content of information and materials made or posted on its Web sites by third parties, including Users and Service Providers. The opinions and views expressed are those of the individual Users of the Service, Service Provider or Blogger and do not reflect those of Legalwe. Data submitted by other Users and Service Providers is not intended to be verified or reviewed in any way before it appears on the Legalwe Web site. However, Legalwe may have in some cases an ability to make approve or make edits to some of the contents posted by third parties (e.g. to the blog articles or Q&A) and reserves right to edit, not approve for publishing or remove any content which is not in line with the Legalwe rules and principles and to do this without previous notification of the party who made such post.  Legalwe does not warrant the validity or accuracy of any such information. Please use caution and common sense when using this site.

Legalwe does not continuously review the standing of any Legal Provider subscriber with any regulatory authority. When considering employing any Legal Provider, Users should check the attorney's standing with the state bar in appropriate country. When considering employing a non-attorney Service Provider, Users or other Legal or Services Providers should check with the local agency that certified the provider or the applicable local regulatory body or business registry.

Legalwe requires that any Legal Provider and other Services Providers register to this portal only with real and actual business information and Legal Providers with active license to practice and by registering to the site the Services Providers acknowledge this as a fact. Legalwe makes no representation regarding the status, standing or ability of any User, Legal and other Services Provider that submits bids, or is listed through this Web site. Legalwe may make occasionally reasonable effort to verify that Legal Providers who subscribe to the Service are licensed in at the country for which makes registration or in at least one state within the United States at the time of registration and for such verification uses publicly available information on Internet. However, Legalwe is unable to track, verify, confirm or monitor the standing of each attorney using the Service.

Users and Services Providers are urged to make their own independent investigation and evaluation of any firm being considered through this portal. The determination of the need for legal services or legal support services and the choice of legal representation are extremely important decisions and should not be based solely on advertisements, claims of expertise, or on the cost of rendering the requested legal services.

Legalwe is not responsible for, and in no way endorses, any description or indication of specialization or limitation of practice by an attorney or law firm or other Legal Providers. Please be aware that no agency or board may have certified such attorney as a specialist or expert in any indicated field of law practice. In addition, an attorney claiming specialization is not necessarily any more expert or competent than other attorneys. It is up to the User to question the attorneys and providers on the factual basis of any statement they make, ask for the names of the certifying agencies, and verify all information.

Users are encouraged to use caution when reviewing any information submitted by Legal Providers. Although Legalwe strongly encourages Legal Providers to comply with all regulations governing attorney conduct, it is impossible for Legalwe to monitor members' integrity or compliance with applicable rules of conduct.

Legalwe in no way endorses the content or legality of any responses, statements, or promises made by Legal Providers or any other parties, on or off this site.

LegalWe does not guarantee that any app purpose will be met or achieved by the Users or Service Providers and that any financial gain from being on the site.

LegalWe maintains the content copyrights for all the content on the site published by the third parties, incl. Users and Service Providers and such content may be used on Operator’s  other portals and social networks and in newsletters.

Legalwe reserves the right to use User or Service Providers information, also pursuant to the terms of the Privacy Policy, in the event Legalwe believes that accounts are in violation of the terms of service or page content guidelines, used to commit unlawful acts, if the information is subpoenaed, and/or if Legalwe deems it necessary and/or appropriate.

Legalwe reserves the right to deny service to offenders of these guidelines or the T’s&C’s without previous notice And/or to terminate or deny service to anyone for any reason and without notice.


Legalwe makes reasonable, industry standard effort to maintain the confidentiality of any information submitted by Users and Services Providers to our System and our database of members. However, because Legalwe cannot control the conduct of others and cannot control communication between Users, Providers and other third parties, we cannot guarantee that this information will remain confidential. Please use caution in deciding what information to input into the System. Do not make any confessions or admissions. If you are not a Services Provider, do not use proper names or addresses unless it is necessary for a Services Provider to perform requested service. Do not provide any other highly personal, sensitive, or incriminating information publicly on the portal. Legalwe is not responsible for the release or improper use of such information by other Users or any release due to error or failure in the System. LegalWe also don’t have access and don’t monitor communication between the Users and Service Providers and to their passowrds to the system.

Users and purchasers agree that Service Providers and sellers contacted by Users and purchasers through the System may report to Legalwe on whether the Users/purchasers engaged their services and the total Providers/sellers fees paid.


Legalwe reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service with or without notice to the User and Service Providers. The User and Service Provider agrees that Legalwe shall not be liable to the User and Service Provider or any third party for any modification or discontinuance of the Service. The User acknowledges and agrees that any termination of Service under any provision of this Terms and Conditions may be effected without prior notice, and acknowledges and agrees that Legalwe may immediately delete data and files in the User's and Service Provider’s account and bar any further access to such files or the Service. For this reason are the User and Service Provider urged to save all data and communication on their local drives and archives also outside of the Legalwe portal all the time.

Some parts of the portal maybe in development or new services can be integrated to the current system. Such new additions or modification of the existing system will be marked as “Beta version” which will indicate that such version is not yet fully tested and launched for full use and Legalwe don’t guarantee full functionality of Beta version elements and use of these elements is at sole risk of the User or Service Provider.


Legalwe’s Operator owns this system, databases, including the 'look and feel' of the system, the idea and functionality, outside and inside graphic, layouts, the name of the system, the LegalWe brand and logo and slogan, content and copyright of public messages and third party publications on the system. Users and Service Providers cannot reproduce any message thread from the system, either electronically or in print, without Legalwe's permission and the permission of all participants in the thread. This is not a complete list — other things on the system are also Legalwe property. Contact Legalwe before copying anything from the system with plans of reproducing it or distributing it and seek advanced written consent.

The User and the Service Provider acknowledges and agrees that content, including but not limited to text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, page layout and design, or other material contained in the Service or information presented through the Service is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, or other proprietary rights and laws. The User and Service Provider acknowledges and agrees that the User and Service Provider is permitted to use this material and information only as expressly authorized in written by Legalwe, and may not copy, reproduce, transmit, distribute, or create derivative works of such content or information without express written authorization of Legalwe. The User and Service Provider acknowledges and agrees that Legalwe can display images and texts provided and published by them on Legalwe throughout the portal and on other portals, social media, newsletter or print media of the Operator. After a membership ceased to exist, any public content provided and published on Legalwe portal by the User or Service Provider remains with Legalwe with further right to use.


Legalwe is not accountable for the wrongful actions of our Users and Service Providers. Legalwe is not responsible for uploads of program with a computer virus on our systems by the Users, Service Providers or other third parties and if such upload damages other Users or Providers computers, systems or data, Legalwe is not responsible for damages caused by third parties transmitting illegal or improper information to another parties through our systems.

Legalwe does not take responsibility for third party sites to which legal we may link and to adherence to laws of these 3rd parties.

Although it is Legalwe's goal to provide Users and Service Providers with a reliable, quality system, the system may have errors or experience system failure from time to time. Such problems are inevitable in operating a system of this size. Legalwe don’t accept blame and is not responsible for financial liability for any usability and functionality problems, system failures or errors, or mistakes or loss of profits or damages of any kind. In order to continue offering and improving our service, Legalwe must deny any warranties on this service and insure that our liability for any problems connected with the use of our system is strictly limited.

The following disclaimers accomplish these needs:

  1. Disclaimer of Warranties

The User and Service Provider expressly agree that use of the service is at the User and Service Provider’s sole risk. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Legalwe expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Legalwe makes no warranty that the service will meet the User and Service Provider’s requirements, and that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Legalwe does not make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of the online service or as to the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the online service or that defects in the software will be corrected. Legalwe makes no warranty regarding any goods or services purchased or information obtained through the portal or any transactions entered into through the service. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by the user from Legalwe shall create any warranty not expressly stated herein.

  1. Limitation of Liability

The User and Service Provider agrees that Legalwe shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from the use or the inability to use the service or for cost of procurement of substitute goods and services or resulting from any goods or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service or resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of User's or Service Providers’ transmissions or data, including, but not limited to damages for loss of profits, use, data or other intangibles, even if Legalwe has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The User and Service Provider further agrees that Legalwe shall not be liable for any damages arising from interruption, suspension, non availability, defects or termination of service, including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, whether such interruption, suspension or termination was justified or not, negligent or intentional, inadvertent or advertent.

Legalwe may unilaterally change (add, delete or amend) these Legal Terms from time to time, with or without cause. Should this occur, Legalwe will provide notice of change of such changes by updating the modification date of the T’s&C’s in the Terms and Conditions page. It is your responsibility to review any revised Legal Terms prior to using Legalwe. Should you find any subsequent revisions to these Legal Terms unacceptable, you must cease using Legalwe’s services. By continuing to access, use or download in any way any service from Legalwe following a revision to these Legal Terms, you agree to and are bound by the Legal Terms as revised.

You acknowledge and agree that any use by you of the Legalwe services is your sole responsibility and at your own risk


The User and Service Provider agree that Legalwe is not responsible for any harm that this service may cause. The User and Service Provider agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold Legalwe harmless from and against any and all liability and costs incurred in connection with any loss, liability, claim, demand, damage, and expenses arising from or in connection with the contents or use of the Service. The User and Service Provider agrees that this defense and indemnity shall also apply to any breach by the User or Service Provider of the Agreement or the foregoing representations, warranties and covenants. The User and Service Provider further agree that this defense and indemnity shall include without limitation attorney fees and costs. The User and Service Provider also agree that this defense and indemnity shall apply to the Legalwe Operator, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees and subcontractors. Legalwe reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by the User/ the Service Provider and the User/the Service Provider shall not in any event settle any matter without the written consent of Legalwe. Legalwe is not responsible for any loss of data resulting from accidental or deliberate deletion, network or system outages, file corruption, or any other reasons including force majeure events.


We may use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Additionally, for systems administration, detecting usage patterns and troubleshooting purposes, our web servers automatically log standard access information including browser type, access times/open mail, URL requested, or referral URL. This information is not shared with third parties and is used only within the Operator’s Company on a need-to-know basis. Any individually identifiable information related to this data will never be used in any way different to that stated above without your explicit permission.


Like most interactive web sites the Legalwe might use cookies to enable us to retrieve user details for each visit. Cookies are used in some areas of our site to enable the functionality of scuh area and ease of use for those people visiting. Some of our affiliate partners may also use cookies.


If you do create a link to a page of this website you do so at your own risk and the exclusions and limitations set out above will apply to your use of this website by linking to it.


We do not monitor or review the content of other party’s websites which are linked to from this website. Opinions expressed or material appearing on such websites are not necessarily shared or endorsed by us and should not be regarded as the publisher of such opinions or material. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices, or content, of these sites. The Operator is a limited liability company registered with the Commercial Registry in Czech Republic, Europe, ID: 02583879. The Operator is not VAT payer.


Legalwe shall not be liable to third parties for any failure to perform any obligation under any Agreement which is due to an event beyond its control, including but not limited to any Act of God, terrorism, war, Political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or man-made eventuality outside of our control including any types of hackers or third party attacks or system failures, which causes unavailability, errors, disfunctionality or termination of a service or an agreement or contract entered into, nor which could have been reasonably foreseen. Any Party affected by such event shall forthwith inform the other Operator of the same and shall use all reasonable endeavors to cooperate in resolution of an issue and comply with the Terms and Conditions herein.


Any controversy or disputes between the parties, e.i. between the Users and Service Providers should be primarily resolved in amicable way between the Parties online via the dispute process.  Service provider or User may have the option to raise a dispute and based on agreement reached with the other party to resolve the issue or cancel the service and approve providing a refund.


This Terms and Conditions, incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy and any notice by Legalwe contained in any of the Web site pages and constitutes the entire understanding between the User, Service Provider and Legalwe regarding the User's and Service Provider’s relationship to our Service.

Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this T& C or Legalwe services shall be settled on an individual basis, and shall not be consolidated in any dispute resolution with any claim or controversy of any other party. The disputes between the Operator (Legalwe) and User or Services Provider shall be conducted in the local applicable courts of Czech Republic and under applicable/governing Czech laws. The laws of Czech Republic govern these Terms and Conditions.

If any of these terms are deemed invalid or unenforceable for any reason (including, but not limited to the exclusions and limitations set out above), then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be severed from these terms and the remaining terms will continue to apply. The User and Service Provider agrees that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the Service or the T’s&C’s must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred.

The section titles in the T & C for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.

These Terms and Conditions shall be amended, modified, varied or supplemented as stated in these Terms and Conditions and signed off by duly authorized representatives of the Operator.

The validity and effectiveness of the Terms and Conditions:

This T’s&C’s is in effect from April 1, 2015.
